“I’m really proud of the work of the Marketing Communications team produces. It is important that stakeholders understand the full breadth of work we do. It's important that they can see how we're influencing customers and their perceptions of the Brother brand.”

Who are your stakeholders?

“We have a range of stakeholders that we need to engage, from our wider Marketing team to Sales, both internal and external, to the senior management team, and Brother Europe, and also our agency partners.”

How were you engaging them before Nectarine?

“Before Nectarine we sent out a lot of email communications, but we also pulled together a PowerPoint deck every month.

With a growing team, we were producing more and more work and that document just got bigger and bigger, to the point that our MD Phil mentioned to me that maybe something a bit shorter would be better for people to digest!”

“When I first saw Nectarine, I really liked the fact that everything is on one page. It makes it really visual - people are automatically more engaged with it.

You can put video assets on there and showcase imagery. It's really easy to navigate, and it means that you can put a lot of information into a small area.”

“We've been using Nectarine for over a year now and have had nothing but good feedback, both from senior management and the Sales guys.

People have a much better idea of what we're doing now and how important it is to the business. We're not just producing something for the sake of it - it's something that's getting used and getting shared around the business.”
